This was a particularly fun shoot to work on because it was like planning my own wedding all over again—with a Kardashian budget. The Monique Lhuillier dress in the first image or the Carolina Herrera peplum gown would be dream alternatives to the traditional white gown. I would even wear Erickson Beamon necklace to just about every occasion, like grocery shopping, if I could. Drool.
Sometimes I nearly forget that I worked on a project until I receive the images months later. The NEW BALANCE catalog that I worked on back in November finally came out and below are some of the highlights, including from their new yoga/lifestyle line, anue—which this season’s designs are inspired by Africa and I want to own everything from. Working out never looked so good.

Oh and that handsome male model you checked out (Bryce Thompson) happens to be the same guy that’s the talented photographer behind a recent post you may have seen here.
What’s with this wacky weather? I finally broke out my a/c and now it’s dropping to 50 degrees in NYC! Talk about jinxing it. Maybe these warm weather looks from a recent shoot I styled will get the weather in the mood. I know I’m ready.

I just got a fun little preview and behind the scenes that I can share with you from a recent shoot I worked on out in Coney Island.
My favorite part of the shoot was that we were kind of living on the edge without getting our proper permit on time to shoot on the beach. While on our final shot, we had a nasty fog rolling in from one side and the beach patrol slowly approaching to shut us down from the other. We were lucky enough to get a bunch of amazing images thanks to our talented crew. Check out a sampling below…

Some behind the scenes on Coney Island…
On Liz: J.Crew dress (similar online) / vintage belt / Warby Parker sunnies / LeSportsac bag (used for my set bag—can’t bear to do the fanny pack thing) / DV by Dolce Vita shoes / etc… modern vintage bracelets

I finally got images in from recent work—everything from advertising, editorial to lifestyle—that is just coming out to share with you! Woohoo.
Speaking of which, if you haven’t seen Discovery Channel ID’s “On The Case with Paula Zahn,” then catch the new season coming out on June 3rd. It’s quite an interesting and chilling program. I’m not sure how reporter, Paula Zahn—who’s one of sweetest people I’ve ever worked with—handles delving into these dark cases, but she is incredibly passionate about it. Check it out.

I recently shared the behind the scenes of this one, so here’s finally some of my favorite scenes! This was one of those shoots where it was a bit tough to want to give back the clothing, jewelry, and those amazing YSL shoes!!!! Sigh.

Last but not least, the June issue came out of the Boston Magazine cover I styled for their annual Cape Cod issue. There are so many good resort-worthy looks that we shot, but alas, only one could be the winner. Here it is…

I think you’ll find this Instaweek pretty exciting because I FINALLY get to post some of what I’m working on before it comes out in a few months!
I worked on a couple of beauty editorials for a popular European magazine this week (no, I didn’t get to jet set to Europe…unless you count me greeting everyone with double kisses). Because it’s about the latest hair and makeup trends for this fall, the editor gave me the go-ahead to reveal some of the wardrobe we shot and of course, brag about the cool designers I worked with.
Me, on set, in action, along with photographer, Florian Innerklofer.
Doesn’t this Beth Lauren piece complete my styling look? You may think it looks better on the model, but I beg to differ.
Think I’ll start a back jewelry trend? I hope so. This Juliet & Company necklace totally compliments this S.I.C. dress.
I think I couldn’t get enough of everything by Eleven Objects and Made Her Think on this shoot.
This E.Kammeyer pin was so perfect for this gorgeous Dabya dress.
I was totally blown away with everything from the entire collection by Olivier Green (you may know him from Project Runway), especially his celestial printed fabrics. I paired it with a top by BCBG and earrings from Beth Lauren for a heavenly look.
This E.Kammeyer hair comb was pretty bad-ass for our edgier shoot.
This Olivier Green top and FSMNYC necklace were too amazing together and a great look to end the shoot. I can’t wait to share all of the other looks (and great beauty that was created) when it does come out in a few months.
This was only half of the schlepping from this week. The glamorous life of a stylist continues…

These are just a few of the items that I scoured Boston for recently for Boston Magazine’s spring accessories report and Bostonista’s shopping report. It was a lot tougher than it looks to find these items before everyone started getting their spring shipments in, but I managed to find some fun ones. Would you rock the clear trend?
